Rattle noise bmw 1 series?

when moving off in 1st gear there is a rattle it sounds like a loose piece of metal it also happen when gear is changed. also it only happens when idle speed is below 2000. ive looked under car and cant c anything that may be causeing the problem. has any body had simlar problem?

could be a loose heat shield on the exhaust or baffle inside it
