When I first heard BMW was bringing a 1-series to the US a few years back, I thought, gee, a small BMW for 20-25K.
FORGET THAT...it's NO small car, and it cost a fortune, even in it's base guise. I think if I am going to get an econ-box fun-run about for city driving, I'll get another German hatch-back, something like a Smart.
The whole concept of an "entry" level BMW was like the original 2002. This is NO 2002...
