I have a BMW 740i, and there is a thumping sound in the back of the car when I drive, and sounds like metal hitting metal about 10 times a second. Is it something urgent, as it is now newyears and no shop is open.

Yes like the user above me said,stay indoors until you can see for yourself what that clicking is.I recommend you to check it out a couple time before going to the mechanics.Its a BMW they will charge money for it.
