So, i'm moving out into the civilian world and to a pretty good starting point on that corporate ladder. However, it appears that I am required to act, and drive, the part. (I thought that cushy salary was going to have a catch).

The following cars have been recommended as suitable to be seen in, but i've never driven anything other than mustangs and know nothing about either of these brands other than the facts that they are expensive and they look nice.

Opinions, experience, and insite are appreciated.

Merry Christmas
Ah, and my ignorance of the brand shows. It was E63. Thanks for correcting me.

I'd try to stand out and be different, but not in a "lookee at meeee" kinda way. First I'd have to recommend to drive what you NEEEEED not WAAAAANNNTT and can afford right now. If you're already set financialy, then fine, you can afford alot of things. You can set a good image and help the environment if you bought say a hybrid. If you want a sporty car and have no family, buy what you want, buy a Vette or an SL or Porsche Cayman, or for less a Saturn Sky, those are cool, or the Pontiac Solstice. There are a few execs that I know of (Sam Walton for one) who drove old pickup trucks, maybe that would be too far out there unless you are a CEO like Walton, but try thinking outside of the box. I wouldn't go deep in debt and I WOULD NOT LEASE for a car if you are just starting out, buy something sensible and others in the company will know you have a good head on your shoulders. The "IT APPEARS" thing in your mesage I simply see as envy, I don't think it will damage your career and in fact might help it if you drive something that will make it appear like you KNOW you are lower than them. then every year or 2 move up a notch, PLUS you won't be up to your eyeballs in debt right away. PLUS screw 'em if they don't like you basic American or Asian transportation.
