version ?? what are the differences between a BMW e39 m5 US version and a BMW e39 m5 UK version ??

i mean is there mechanical or elecrical parts differences ??
and if i wanna mod. my car ... would the US parts fit into my UK version ... ( talking about chipping it ) ??

well i know the streeing wheel is on the opposite side. and i think all bmw's shipped to the u.s by bmw have an ecu with a speed limiter. i thnk its like 110 mph or maybee 120.
