How can i do the top down manual?

The E36, E46, E93 all have 328i convertible models.

Convertible top malfunction could be caused by 3 possible areas; electrical (motor, fuses), hydraulic system, mechanical (something on the roof is preventing the top's movement).

If you don't hear the motor when you press the button, it's an electrical problem.

If you hear the motor, the problem is either hydraulic or mechanical.

As far as I know, they all have power convertible tops which do not have any emergency manual operation (unlike the sunroof).

You should call your dealer to ask them, they shouldn't charge you to answer a question like this.
