BMW '98 528i Check Engine, Code P1189, Fuel Control (Bank 2 Sensor 1).
I got the code, but I don't know what it means.
What's a fuel control?
What should I do?
Can I just spray some carb cleaner on the MAF?
Can I just pour some injector cleaner in the gas tank?
Is this a throttle body thing?
Is this an injector thing?
I am lost and the Dealership wants to charge me $60 to get the code for themselves and only THEN will they tell me what it means!!!
