the engine computer? The radio locked up and the antitheft feature activated. I already got the code for it and it won't respond to it. It keeps showing "code" on the screen. I read that some people had luck with leaving the car disconnected from the battery but others warned that this might affect the engine computer. Who is correct on this issue?
I already tried disconnecting the car battery and leaving it disconnected after an hour and trying to renter the code but I had no luck.
I know that leaving it dissconnected for an hour won't affect it but I am not sure if leaving disconnected for 12 hours will.

I have also read that some people have luck by entering the code after an hour of the radio being on. I'll give that a try tomorrow. i have already sent an email where I got the code. Maybe they gave me the wrong code or i am doing something wrong.I already plugged the battery in I don't want to mess something up.
