When i drive for more than a distance of 80km,the car dropes speed and wont go over 40km/h.Then i let it stand for about 20 min it goes as if there was never a problem,but five minutes down the road does the same thing again.the car does not switch off when this happens,it idels normal,but wont rev up.Anyone experience this and have some answer for me.i suspect the fuel pump but wanna be sore because a new one will set me back R5000,and if its not that im stuffed.

you need to have someone plug into the computer and get the code for your problem. Some auto parts stores will do it for free and tell you what the code is and what it means. Your problem could be several things, including a fuel pump, but it doesn't sound like a fuel problem you're experiencing.
