...the BMW 323i behind us? We can't decide. both vehicles run great. Suburban has 217,000 miles. BMW has 127k miles. No AC in the Suburban, but we live in Florida right now...Don't think we'll be needing AC any more than we need it right now. we've got 2 Kids ages 14 and 8 traveling with us.
Whichever one we take..the other one is up for sale.

one thing you should consider is that the surburban is a lot heavier than the BMW, of course if you're taking a one year rv trip then you probably are not that worried about the price of gas. here's the main thing you need to look at: are you towing a vehicle on a dolly, on a trailer, or all four wheels on the ground? certain vehicles, mostly with automatic transmissions, cannot be towed with the drive wheels on the ground unless the driveline is disconnected or some other modification is made to pump transmission fluid, otherwise the transmission will be ruined. the best place to check is with the BMW/Chevy dealers as to how to tow these vehicles. good luck and enjoy your trip
