My battery cable was loose on my 2000 Z3, which caused the car to lose battery for a few seconds. I tightened the cable, but now the 3 buttons on my remotes are no longer recognized. The dealer said I need to bring it in to let them correct it. Question, can I do this myself ? Is there some sequence I can do to get it to recognize my remotes again without bringing the car into the dealer ? Please email me at rendog1 @ yahoo . com if you have a solution.
