The power window is stuck in the down position in the driver's side door. When you push the switch, it will go up and down about half an inch. It doesn't sound like anythings stripped. When you puch the power window button, it sounds no different than usual, it just won't come up or down more than half an inch. What could this be?

Have you tried the "switch" at the window as well as the drivers side "switch"?

Have you tried to "Pull" the window up (if the switches don't work?)

If it's not the switch then it could be the motor or connector or the "gear" inside the door frame.

If you get in a bind, pull off the inner door panel and "push" the window up until you can get it fixed. 8-)
