My 318 2000 model has recently been not starting.It has got worse now and i've just had to send the wife to work in the van! when you turn the key the dash lights come on but no engine start. sometimes if you close door lock car and then re open it will start but now i cant seem to get it to start at all. i have just noticed theres a faint buzzing noise coming from behind the ashtray area which is there whether is locked or not. I think its something to do with immobiliser system but am not clued up with these cars. Any ideas?:confused: :bawling:

auto-electrician required. easier and eventually cheaper than diy.

Could be a battery or starter problem, If you haven't replaced the battery start there first
