Wrong phrasing maybe! I drive a Mercedes C200 and stay at home in snowy weather until the roads are cleared. I don't use winter tyres and very few people do in this part of Scotland unless they go up into the hills. I'm a careful driver and very, very careful when there is trisk of black ice.
I guess that the question I should have asked is:- Is a BMW 530d better, worse or much the same as a Mercedes C200 on icy roads?
The BMW seems to have a more sophisticated ABS system than the Merc. and something the Merc. ain't got, Dynamic Stability Control.
