I just bought a repoed bmw and the radio does not work it was stolen and some of the parts were stolen hood, bumper, radiator, and i think something was stolen in the back left compartment of the trunk. i think that might be the problem, the idrive works and everything but no radio or NAV. I was just wondering if anyone knew what the problem could be and if I could buy something to fix it or if i am just screwed with no radio. If i could I would like to upgrade it so my iphone would work.. Please let me know my possiblity and links of were i could but this.
How much in a ballpark figure would you say it would cost?

In the left side of the trunk are 2 items critical to the functioning of the NAV and radio. These would be the NAV disc player (control module) and the TEL/TCU (telecommunications module). They interact with each other and the central information display (video display) via the
I-drive controlller.
Both parts are big bucks, and the repairs including programming amounts to a hefty sum. Generally a dealer is the most reliable way to fully diagnose, estimate and repair the said problem. Of course an independent BMW trained mechanic with the right equipment can also do it
