I have a computer chip for my '89 535i BMW. I don't see where it goes. Do I have to disassemble the ECU? I thought it would be a plug and play scenario like on a GM car that I had done previously.
Oh silly me. I found the ECU before but was not sure I should bend the tabs away to get into it. I was told that was the only way . I did and the chip is in and running fine thank you.
