The dash reads, Brake Light Circuit, but the brake lights work fine. What can I do to turn off the warning light on dash? Need to know from someone who really knows.

Common fault on the bmws is the brakelight switch, change it and it will be ok.

Mercedes and BMW use chrome plated bulbs only!! Brass bulbs will set off the warning light. If you have used brass plated bulbs, throw them away and go to the auto parts store and buy chrome plated(silver casing) bulbs. This should take care of the problem. The brass bulbs will work fine but the light will not go off until they are replaced with chrome. Good luck.
