Both are the same price etc, so that doesnt make a difference. Only problem is I already have a black 3 series coupe and just want my new car to look different to my car at the moment so people I know actually realise its a new car.
Heres an example just to give you an idea...

Thanks for your opinions anyway!!

go for the Imola Red, my brother has an M3 in black, it only looks good when its just out of the car wash... black color attracts too much dirt!!
the red gives it a sportier look, and since u already have a black 3 series i think a change would be better.
enjoy ur new ride! :)

Personally I think the M3 looks really good in Alpine White.
Between your 2 colors, I would say Imola red. You already have a black one, and Imola red is similar to Mugelo red, which is one of BMW's racing colors.
My own opinion would be to go for the Imola Red based on the following reasoning.
Firstly as you say, you already have a black car and would like something different.
Secondly as someone has already said black is a difficult colour to keep looking clean.
Thirdly, Imola red is alot less popular in my experience (Working at a BMW dealer) and therefore would be a more exclusive car to own.
And finally in my opinion I just think it looks better !! :)

The problem with red is that the bonnet usually fades like mad in the sun and the black looks so sexy

black ones are hard to keep looking clean. go with the red m3, its sportier look anyways!
Nothing is worth it

I'd have the red one, it has a lot less miles for only a few more euros.
I like the black one. ( carbon black )
red - it doesnt' fade on new cars thats an old fashioned approach
