Focus is my dream car but hear so much problems about it

This isn't surprising. Ford is an American car, which means it's most likely junky and cheap. Seriously, a lot of people get on this site and jump on the American car defense force, but any sensible person understands that American cars are mostly inferior to their Japanese, Korean, and European counterparts. Not only are they engineered terribly, they look flat out low-class for the most part (have you seen the new Dodge sedans?)....yuck yuck yuck. If you do buy an American car for the lower sticker price, you're going to end up spending more on it through repairs. Prepare to have your car break down in the middle of the road at 30,000 miles and every 5,000 miles thereafter. Stick with the BMW, please.

the Ford Focus is a good car.... or so I've heard. Do what you want and worry later. you will have a 60-day return limit either way.

Two defferant class cars. The bmw has great handling and has european roots as to the focus, well its a ford that has european parts.

The bmw as with any euro car will have a lot of electrical problems and inside the car things will fall apart. The engine is good for now but they do have overheating problems when ran hard. The bmw has great styling as well. The maintence cost is going to be alot more than the focus would.

The focus i dont have anything good to say about it, and the prices are way diffetent .

While Ford and Chrysler are struggling, GM is competing again. Lack of class? Have you seen the new Saturns? they rank right up with Mercedes, BMW, and Cadillac for class and driving dynamics. Of course the new Saturns are little more than rebadged Opels. GM has a 100,000 mile warranty, Toyota has 36,000. Out of those two I would choose the BMW, but I would rather get an Opel/Saturn Astra

but i'd take the new BMW 1 Serie if i had to choose

First off all, don't believe anything you hear, BMW 1 series is a good car but the parts are extremely expensive, and its fuel economy is not that good either, Ford focus st I think would be a better buy, I know a few guys with this car and they never complained, and there parts are cheap, if something happens, Best is, go to http://fifthgear.five.tv , you can hear from the pro's,check it out,go to road tests and see it all, pros and cons and everything.

what the hell is your question, do you know what a complete sentence is? and how the hell in this day and age could someone say a Ford Focus is their dream car? there is just so many things wrong with that statement.....first....it's a ford, second...it's a focus. ever heard of gt500 shelby or gt40?

Wow BMW obviously, then again its the more expensive choice. Focus is the slowest car that Ford makes.
