i thin m5 r faster tell me wat u think

last i herd m5 has 500hp so did vettes. m5 weighs more and are higher revving which means they lack on the low-end torque. so id say vette.

the z-06 vette is faster

(considering that the M6 beat out the M5 in all of Road and Track's tests, I think this is your answer. No. - at least, not faster than the Z06. Still a nice car, though.)

You need to specify what vintage 'Vette and what you mean by "fast" Acceleration? Top speed? If you mean 2006 M5 vs. 2006 Corvette, they're pretty close in performance, but I do think the M5 edges out the 'Vette. The Beemer is just a badass car, dude.
