Please help me out. I have a 1994 530i with the M60. It decided not to start one morning. It will turn over, but will not start up.
I used the service manual to checked the CPS, cam position sensor, coils, injector volts, fuel pump. I did see a problem with the fuel pressure regulator. It is suppose to be 3.5 Bar and it was 4.5 Bar. I did check the return line and it was fine. I just installed it and now I am getting 3.5 Bar of pressure, but still no start-up.
Now it will try to start-up, but won't. Again I pull the coil packs and plugs out to look. The plugs are very WET,, I did a self test with each coil with spark plug installed to boot and it is a Bright Blue spark. The plugs do need changing, but they are getting a hot spark.
Did I over look anything. Please,, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Joey
Thanks every one. I will have to get new plugs tho they are firing. They could be just too wet to fire in the motor.
I did try starter fluid and it didn't start,,, witch is a little Odd.
I did try it at WOT also.
If all else fells,, I'll have to get a new DME management system.
Thanks
